How we use cookies
The Resit Project Ltd ("The Resit Project", "we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on our website, www.theresitproject.com.
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites function correctly, maintain security and, where applicable, remember visitor preferences.
This Cookie Policy explains the types of cookies our website may use, why they are used and how you can manage your preferences.
Our website is hosted by Wix, which uses certain technologies to support the operation and security of the site.
1. Essential Cookies
Essential cookies are necessary for the basic operation, functionality and security of our website.
They may support functions such as maintaining secure browsing sessions, protecting against malicious activity and remembering cookie consent preferences.
These cookies do not require your consent where they are strictly necessary to provide a service you have requested or to enable essential website functions.
Wix CMS: Supports the management and display of website content and associated functionality.
Essential Wix website technologies: Support website operation, security and essential functionality, where applicable.
Cookie consent technology: Records and applies visitors' cookie preferences, where applicable.
2. Functionality Cookies (Optional)
Functionality cookies allow websites to remember certain choices or preferences to provide additional features or a more personalised experience.
Our current Wix component scan has not identified a separately declared optional functionality component.
If we introduce optional functionality cookies, we will update this policy and seek consent where required.
3. Advertising Cookies (Optional)
Advertising cookies may be used to track website activity, measure advertising effectiveness or deliver personalised advertisements.
Our current Wix component scan has not identified a separately declared advertising component.
If we introduce advertising or marketing cookies, we will update this policy and obtain consent before using them where required.
Managing Cookie Preferences
You can manage your cookie preferences through the cookie consent banner on our website.
Where optional cookies are used, you can choose whether to accept or reject them. You can also withdraw or change your consent at any time using the cookie preference controls made available on our website.
Essential cookies cannot generally be disabled through the consent banner because they are required for the website to function correctly.
You can also delete cookies or change your browser settings to block or allow certain cookies. Most browsers provide these options within their privacy or security settings.
Please be aware that disabling essential cookies may affect how our website functions.
Managing Cookie Preferences
We may update this Cookie Policy if the cookies or technologies used on our website change, or to reflect changes in applicable legal requirements.
We will review our cookie settings and this policy when introducing new website features, integrations or services, including our planned e-learning platform.
The latest version will always be available on our website.
