Building Effective
Post-16 English Departments

We believe GCSE English resits require more than great resources. They require consistently outstanding teaching, structured & scalable student intervention and a department-wide approach that gives every student the best possible opportunity to achieve a Grade 4.

Whether you're looking to improve outcomes, increase consistency across your teaching team or strengthen your existing provision, we work alongside colleges to implement a system that supports teachers and helps students succeed.

Teachers receive implementation support, coaching and CPD to embed resources into their existing lesson delivery.

  • Pilot Programme

Right now, The Resit Project is working with a small number of colleges. Whether you're looking to scale intervention, provide GCSE resit specific CPD or change the way you deliver resits, joining our Pilot Programme might be for you.

  • E-Learning

The Resit Project also offers scalable intervention for students. Content is delivered by digital teachers, aligned to your lessons and students use workbooks to complete tasks independently. It can also be used in lessons or as part of timetabled support.
